I wrote another blog for SweFOR, this time about the complex issue of Patrullas de Autodefensa Civil (PAC), Civil Defense Groups. The PAC were civilians, often recruited by force, who themselves took part in many of the human rights violations comitted during the Guatemalan civil war.
